Wild West Gala: A Celebration of Wild Spaces and Wildlife in Alberta

The 22nd annual Wild West Gala is a celebration of Alberta’s Wild spaces and Wildlife. It is a tradition of friends, colleagues, members and supporters enjoying a great meal and an evening filled with entertainment, conversation, auctions and plain good fun. We have held the ticket price ($85 members, $100 non-members) at the same level for many years to enable a wide audience to join in the celebration. Bow River Flow

The 2nd Annual Bow River Flow is coming up on Sunday, August 22, 10am-6pm!

The 2010 event will bring an expanded route, creating a complete loop. The two south lanes of Memorial Drive, from 3 St. to 9 St. NW, will be opened to human-powered transportation. From the east end of the Memorial Drive closure, the event will cross the Bow River and Prince's Island over to the south side river pathway. Read more »

With ten bicycle-powered generators, Music is a Weapon will be highlighting the importance and approachability of sustainable energy! Highlighting local artists & musicians, the afternoon will include live music, a drum circle, free bicycle tune ups and special guests.

Come hop on a bike and be part of the electricity during the city's first People Powered Party!
